Mission Beach is a leisurely one and a half hours drive south of Cairns, and two and a half hours north of Townsville in the heart of the Wet Tropics of North Queensland.
Yamacutta Rainforest Lodge is situated in Carmoo, a beautiful semi-rural area just 6 minutes inland from the magnificent Coral Sea Coast at South Mission Beach and with easy access to nearby restaurants, cafes and amenities at Wongaling and North Mission.

There are direct flights daily from UK and Europe and South-East Asia to Cairns International Airport and internal links to Cairns and Townsville.

Most other airlines (e.g. Singapore Airlines, Royal Brunei, Air New Zealand, Virgin) fly in to Brisbane & Sydney (a good excuse to visit these spectacular cities as stop-overs on your trip). Internal flight links within Australia are comprehensive, excellent and cheap(Virgin Blue, Jetstar and Qantas).
Hinterland Aviation operates flights between Cairns Airport and Dunk Island up
to 3 times daily. Alternatively, if you would prefer a private transfer charter
flights are also available. Flights take approximately 45 minutes. (From Dunk Island a 10 minute ferry ride takes you to Mission Beach).
 ROAD LINKS
From Cairns, take the Bruce Highway south. Continue through Innisfail & El Arish towards Tully. As you approach Tully, turn left signposted Mission Beach.....
From Townsville, take the Bruce Highway north. Continue through Ingham and Cardwell to Tully. Shortly after leaving Tully, turn right signposted Mission Beach.....
....After 10 minutes on the Tully-to-Mission Beach road, look out for a right turn into Lindsay Road.

COACH LINKS
Greyhound and Premier coaches stop at the Wongaling Shopping Centre near the
Mission Beach Resort in Wongaling Beach.
RAIL LINKS
Queensland Rail offers two Tilt trains and three Sunlander departures from
Brisbane to Cairns.
